Join us as Pastor Richard dives into the Word of God and explains just how we, as joint-heirs with Christ, are called to live an abundant life!

Notes

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”

Romans 8:2 [KJV]

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.”

Matthew 5:17 [KJV]

Because Christ perfectly fulfilled the law and was then sacrificed on our behalf, in the sight of God, it is as though we have fulfilled the law perfectly ourselves. We didn’t simply get our sins washed away and remained the same creature as before. We were made completely new creatures in Christ through our salvation. We must live according to the Law of Life to walk in the full blessing that is promised to us in Christ.

It is similar to this: some people drive poorly simply because they do not know the laws well. We have to learn the laws of driving in order to drive well; no one forced us to learn these laws; we learned them because we wanted to drive.

We must study the Word of God and learn how to live according to the Law of Life—forsaking our former selves and selfish flesh—in order to pass the tests of life with flying colors.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 [KJV]
“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Romans 10:8–10 [KJV]

We all began serving Jesus in the Law of Life at our salvation through our confession of His Lordship. It is up to us to continually learn what constitute the laws of Life in the Spirit by laying hold of them in the Spirit through our Spirit (primarily through our mouths).

“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:”

Colossians 1:13 [KJV]

Satan has no control over us, whatsoever. When we are born again, all ties with satan are severed. Our actions from then on are our own and can not be blamed on satan. We must subdue our flesh and follow after Christ! You have already been set free from the dominion of satan!

“For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.”

1 Corinthians 11:31 [KJV]

If we judge ourselves here on earth, we are not subject to the law of death that destroys our bodies in the same way as those outside of Christ (those outside the Law of Life). It is time to look at ourselves in the mirror of the Word in order to correctly judge ourselves. If we have no knowledge of what the Word says, we won’t know how to judge ourselves.

It is time for ministers to get back to preaching the real Word of God without dancing around the subjects of sin and death. When we stand before God on judgement day, no one will stand in our place. Ministers will be held accountable for leading their flocks astray.

“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Matthew 11:29–30 [KJV]

God is not a task master, though. “Easy” is the word we should focus on in that scripture (not burden)! God does not remember our sins; if we want Him to forget our sins, we must keep them under the blood of Christ!

“And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, ‘Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.’ ”

“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.”

Numbers 13:1–2, 30–33 [KJV]

God gave the land to the children of Israel. By going against what God has already declared, and going against what He had already given them, they were giving an “evil report.”

When we—as Christians—say that satan made us do something, we are giving an evil report because God has already delivered us from satan’s dominion! We must keep our words in line with the Word of God and continually acknowledge that we are free from the curse of sin and death to walk in the Law of Life!

“To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.”

1 Corinthians 5:5 [KJV]

It would be better that our flesh be destroyed and we make heaven than our flesh continue living and spirits not be saved in the day of the Lord.

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:”

Ephesians 6:10–17 [KJV]

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Hebrews 11:1 [KJV]

The shield of faith is comprised of a belief in the Word of God. We are moving into the dominion of the glorious church. The glorious church will be filed with people who have a deeper revelation of the full knowledge of the power of the spoken Word.

“The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.”

Matthew 8:8–10 [KJV]

We can have the measure of faith before we are even saved. We can also walk with Christ every day, just like the disciples, and still be lacking faith. It is up to us to change ourselves and renew our minds with the watering of the Word.

“He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.”

Matthew 11:15

If we continually hear that the things of God are not for today, our mind will become numb to the truth and power of God. We must put aside all things that are contrary to the Word of God in order to walk in the Law of Life. When we begin to hear what the Word really says, our hearts and minds will become open to it.

We have to decide that no matter what the rest of the world wants to do, we want to serve God all our days walking in the love of God that inspires us to preach the Gospel to all those that are fallen. Through our love of God and His Word—by walking in the Law of Life—we take was exists only in the Spirit realm and bring it into existence within the physical world.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16 [KJV]

God gave Jesus to the world, but the whole world won’t go to heaven. We must make Christ our Lord by confessing that He is our salvation. We will have what we say: death or life.

“And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!”

Numbers 14:2 [KJV]

The children of Israel—despite the incredible blessing of God in their deliverance from Egypt—spoke death into their own lives. Because of what the children of Israel spoke with their mouths (death), they got exactly what they uttered with their mouths (death). We control the destiny of our lives with our own words.

We live under a better promise than those in the Old Testament. We have what we say. If we will take the time to judge ourselves agains the Word honestly, we will see how we can change and walk in the Law of Life; we must speak God’s blessings over ourselves to live in His blessings.

Some people want to say that “money cometh” without ever walking in the Law of Life and honoring God’s Word with their tithes. We can’t expect to walk in God’s blessing while we refuse to live according to His Word!

“Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.”

2 Corinthians 4:4 [KJV]

The greatest draw to the United States is the light of the Word. We can’t live for satan and cast out devils. We must take our places as the glorious church, walking in the full light of God’s Word; walking in the Law of Life! If we want to habitually walk in the Law of Life, we must study and learn just what God’s Word says on how to operate in that Law.

What creates the shield of faith is the substance of our words in faith based on God’s word. Every piece of our armor from God is spiritual. Satan will try to dismantle the armor God has given us, so we must confess over ourselves what God says about us and our salvation in Christ. From our spirits, with faith in God’s word, we must begin to declare what God’s Word says about us! We go on the offensive with satan by declaring the Word of God!

The Word of God is two-edged, though. Not only does the Word of God fend off satan, but it keeps us in check by reminding us of ourselves as compared to the Word. By faith in God’s Word, we direct our destinies in the Law of Life.

“Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, ‘Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.’ ”

Numbers 13:30 [KJV]

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”

John 6:63 [KJV]

Jesus lifted the curse of sin and death! Jesus delivered us into the Law of Life! The Word of God is the key to walking in the spirit; it is key to walking in the Law of Life! We must speak the Word!
